Kyoto-Lion
Japanese art, printed on everyday apparel
Kyoto-Lion started with a simple idea: the imagery that makes Japanese art so recognisable — ukiyo-e waves, samurai, koi, shrine cats — belongs on clothes you actually wear, not just in museums.
Every piece in our collection is built around one original graphic. We work in small batches, print on heavyweight washed cotton, and keep the fits relaxed so the artwork has room to breathe. No seasonal churn, no logo plastered across the chest — just a print you would actually want to wear.
We are a small team, and we read every message. If a size is unclear or an order needs help, email support@kyoto-lion.com and you will hear back from a person.
01
One design, one story
Each print starts as a single illustration, not a stock graphic. You will not see the same design on ten other stores.
02
Printed in small batches
Small runs keep the print sharp and the fabric consistent. When a design sells out, we restock it only if it holds up.
